TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- One of the five fishermen who went missing in the seas of Calayan town in Cagayan on Monday, November 28, was found in Pamplona town.

Gabriel Trisinio was found off the shores of Pamplona by residents. Trisino is from Santa Ana town.

In a report, Police Senior Inspector Saturnino Soriano, police chief of Philippine National Police (PNP)-Santa Ana said the boat of Trisinio and 5 others capsized at the boundary of Calayan and Aparri.

Trisinio has since been brought home by her family, who immediately went to Pamplona after hearing the news that they found.

A local radio report also quoted Trisinio saying he tried saving his father but later left by request.

His father reportedly told him to save himself.

Authorities are still conducting a search and rescue operation for the other 4 missing fishermen. –Northernforum.net
