TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- Two men were killed in recent shootings in this city over the last 24 hours.
On Saturday, January 14, an ex-cop was shot dead by motorcycle-riding killers in Tanza village around 1 pm.
Police identified the victim as certain Geraldine Baustista, 43.
Bautista reportedly just came out from an e-bingo station when the still unknown assailants shot him using.45 caliber gun.
Responding police investigators recovered 11 heat-sealed sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride from Bautista’s pockets.
Meanwhile, another 27-year old man was also shot dead around 11 am on Sunday, January 15, in Bagumbayan village.
Manny Amarles was proclaimed dead on the spot after sustaining 7 gunshot wounds.
Police have recovered sachets of illegal drugs in his pocket.
