TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines-Two people died while four others were injured when a vehicle bumped into a roadside in Lal-lo town in Cagayan province on Tuesday, January 9.
Cagayan police identified the fatalities as Rachelle Fermin Araja, 52, and Guillermo Fermin, 60. Injured victims were driver Denissa Garo, 24, Dyna Garo, 51, Regina Fermin, 54, and Diana Garo, 27.
In a report, police said the victims were travelling to the direction of Gonzaga, Cagayan aboard a Ford Everest when the driver tried to overtake a vehicle but lost control of the tires along the national road of Barangay Magapit Lal-lo.
Both fatalities were declared dead on the spot, while the victims are now undergoing medical treatment.
Police added that the vehicle was registered under the name of Rural Bank of Gattaran Inc, one of the leading rural banks in Cagayan. Northernforum.net
