Sta. Maria, Isabela – Two students were arrested for allegedly raping a young girl in Brgy. Mozzozzi Sur, Sta. Maria, Isabela. The girl was reported to be a minor and is still alive.
Among the suspects were a grade 12 student at 18 years of age and the other is a minor currently at grade 11. Both of these suspects are number 6 and 7 of the most wanted persons in the municipality of Sta. Maria, Isabela.
In an interview with The Northern Forum Cagayan Valley, PNP Sta. Maria said that the suspects invited the victim to a drinking session where the crime took place. The suspects are currently detained at Sta. Maria Police Station for processing before proceeding to RTC Branch 22 at Cabagan, Isabela for trial.
