2 wanted persons nabbed in separate police ops

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- Police Regional Office 2 (PRO2) arrested two wanted persons including a top four city-level wanted individual in separate operations in Isabela and Cagayan.

PRO2 said in a press release that the city-level wanted person was identified as Jay-Jay Adorio, 29, from Barangay Calamagui 1st, City of Ilagan, Isabela.

Ilagan City Police served Adorio a warrant of arrest for frustrated murder on Saturday, November 18. Police said the arrest warrant was issued by Ilagan Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 16 Second Judicial Region Presiding Judge Isaac De Alban.

The recommended bail bond for Adorio is P24, 000, police said.

Meanwhile, police also arrested a 35-year-old businessman from Barangay Casili, Camalaniugan, Cagayan on the same day.

Camalaniugan Police served an arrest warrant to Richard Ligsay for estafa in Barangay Jurisdiccion, Lallo, CagayanThe warrant of arrest was issued by Aparri RTC Branch 08 Judge Nicanor Pascual Jr. The recommended bail is fixed at P80,000.

PRO2 Regional Director Police Chief Superintendent Robert Quenery said in the release that the arrest of two is the result of the help of the public for giving fast and accurate information for immediate police response.

The arrests were part of PRO2’s intensified campaign called Oplan Manhunt Charlie, the release said. Northernforum.net
