TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- Five persons died while 2 others were severely injured in a vehicular accident in Roxas town in Isabela Saturday, November 19.
In a report, Roxas town police chief Dennis Pamor said the fatalities were Cherry Mae Coloma, Cris Feiliciano, Michelle Magno and 2 others who are yet to be identified.
The 5 killed victims were proclaimed dead on arrival at the Roxas District Hospital.
In their initial investigation, police said the Nissan Sentra driven by Coloma collided with the approaching Isuzu Fuego driven Jonathan Basca, 23.
Basca, who is now facing charges of Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Multiple Homicide with Serious Physical Injuries, survived and is now undergoing treatment.
The report said the strong impact caused the Nissan Sentra almost flattened into half.
The victims were thrown off the Nissan while the suspect’s vehicle fell off a rice field.
Police said the victims are under the influence of liquor. Northernforum.net
