TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan- A 58-year old businessman and also a former police officer was killed in Solana, Cagayan on Thursday morning, August 3.
Police identified the victim as Natalio Tabbu, a resident of Natappian East in Solana town.
The police reported that Tabbu was riding his motorcycle on his way home when a black Toyota Fortuner with no license plate blocked his way near Natappian Elementary School.
A man from the vehicle then shot Tabbu several times and immediately fled the scene.
Tabbu was also listed in the drug watch list in the locality. Investigators are also looking at business rivalry as the possible motive for the killing.
The victim reportedly owns a piggery in the area. Northernforum.net
