TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- A student of Cagayan State University was arrested for allegedly extorting money from his former girlfriend’s sex video and nude photo.
Police said Gideon Gito, 19, was charged with robbery-extortion and violence against women and their children for threatening his former girlfriend to upload the graphic videos to social media if she does not give him money.
Gito was arrested in an entrapment operation in his third attempt to extort money, police said.
The suspect reportedly admitted to the allegations.
