TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – Department of Education (DepEd) regional office 2 said that the central office will announce the finalized schedule for the next school year before end of April or early May 2020.
Regional Director Estela Cariño said that the central office has finished the survey for the opening of classes for the school year 2020-2021.
Cariño also said that DepEd officials discussed matters regarding the supposed graduation rites this month.
“Graduation Rites are postponed indefinitely but it will not be cancelled. We have also discussed the preparation for the Online Graduation Rites,” she said.
However, the decision will also be based on President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s orders regarding the school year 2020-2021.
Moreover, DepEd central office will download the memorandum once it has been released.
Meanwhile, as discussed in the Regional Management Committee meeting, the Education Continuity Plan is already being prepared by DepEd.
