BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya– The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) here has reported that all 15 mayors in the province were not included in the drug watch list.
Bagabag town mayor and president of the Mayors’ League-Nueva Vizcaya Chapter Johnny Sevillena said the report came from DILG provincial director Ruperto Maribbay.
“We recently joined other mayors in the country during a dialogue with President Rodrigo Duterte in Malacanang and we are glad that none of us in Nueva Vizcaya are involved whatsoever in illegal drugs,” he said.
Sevillena added that only barangay officials in the province have been included in the national drug watch list which was earlier submitted to the DILG and President Rodrigo Duterte. PIA
