TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- The Department of Health regional office in Cagayan Valley has reported a 63% decrease in the cases of firecracker-related injuries in the region.
In a report on Monday, December 2, the Regional Epidemiology Surveillance Unit (RESU) of the DOH said there were only 32 cases from December 21 to January 1.
RESU said piccolo, an already banned firecracker, remained the main cause of injuries in the region.
They said the monitoring will continue until January 5. -Northernforum.net
