TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- A retired police chief was arrested by this city’s police, trying to flee with a stock of firearms and bullets following a domestic incident.
Police caught retired Police Chief Inspector Juancho Alobba, 57, after allegedly firing his gun during an argument with his wife in their house in Barangay Pengue-Ruyu, this city, on New Year’s eve.
City police reportedly found inside Alobba’s car a carbine rifle, Ingram machine gun, a .45-caliber gun, and several cartridges of assorted bullets.
In an Inquirer report, the former cop failed to prove a licensed to carry the guns and bullets, said City police chief Suptertindent Edward Guzman.
Alloba was chief of police of Ramon, Isabela, and has been assigned in various stations in Isabela and Cagayan. Northernforum.net
