CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela– A drug rehabilitation center in this province is now nearly ready to accommodate drug dependents regionwide, an official of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) here said.
Elpidio Durwin, DILG-provincial director here, said based on their recent assessment, the Regional Drug Rehabilitation Center, located at Barangay San Antonio in this city, is expected to start accommodating drug addicts here and in nearby provinces later this month.
Durwin said the multi-million drug rehab center, aside from providing treatment and counselling programs for drug dependents, will also serve as a mechanism to re-integrate drug dependents into the society.
The DILG official said they will request no less than President Rodirgo R. Duterte himself to inaugurate the said drug rehabilitation and treatment facility. PIA
