TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- The municipal engineer of Jones town in Isabela was shot dead by motorcycle-riding gunmen on Wednesday, September 19.
In a report, Senior Inspector Jose Cabaddu, Santiago City police chief, identified the victim as engineer Johny Lazaro, 60.
Lazaro was reportedly waiting for his driver near a cockpit in Barangay Dubinan West in Santiago when he was shot in the head.
He was brought to the hospital but was proclaimed dead on arrival.
Police are now investigating the killing to identify the motive and suspects. Northernforum.net
