Jail visitation to possibly resume – BJMP

Jail visitation could possibly resume according to Tuguegarao City District Male Jail Warden Inspector Samuel Carodan.
Prior to the lock down last March, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) released an order of prohibiting jail visitation.
However, Carodan said that they are preparing the jail for possible resumption of jail visitation.
“Nagkaroon po ng meeting upang maisagawa ang face to face jail visitation habang sinusunod ang mga health protocols”, he said.
In addition, Female Warden Inspector Susan Carodan said that barriers are being prepared for the face to face visitation.
“Ayon sa order wala pong physical or hawakan. Mayroon paring barrier upang walang contact sa pagdalaw.”
Carodan also said that PDL are making facemasks in preparation for the resumption of jail visitation.
In the previous month, BJMP implemented the E-dalaw, an online way for Persons Deprive of Liberty (PDL) to communicate with their families. TNF
