PHIVOLCS said the earthquake struck 10 kilometers southwest of Cabatuan, Isabela around 7:47 am on Monday. The quake was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 16 kilometers. PHIVOLCS said no expected damage and aftershocks. Intensity 5 was felt in Cauayan City, while Intensity 4 was recorded in Maddela, Quirino and Lamut, Isabela.
