TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- A 34-year old man was shot and killed beside a furniture and appliance shop, this city, on Monday night, August 28.
City Police identified the victim as Alfonso Rojo Remudaro, a resident of Barangay Ugac Sur, this city.
Initial investigation stated that, at around 7:45 pm, two suspects riding a red motorcycle approached Remudaro as he was walking on the sidewalk beside Bombay Bazaar, at the corner of Washington Street and Bonifacio Street. The backrider reportedly shot Remudaro several times. The suspects sped off after this. The motorcycle had no plate number.
Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered four pieces of empty bullet shells, one deformed slug, and a metal fragment, all for caliber .45.
The police are still determining the motive of the incident but they are currently looking at a possible love triangle angle. They added that the victim was also involved in an earlier shooting incident in 2013.
The remains of the victim were brought to Ortiz Funeral Homes where his body is yet to be claimed. GTL/RGD/Northernforum.net
