TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- Another Novo Vizcayano bagged two gold medals in the 2017 Anyang World Taekwondo Hanmadang held in the Anyang Gymnasium in Anyang City, South Korea, July 29-August 1.
On Monday, September 4, the Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya through Governor Carlos Padilla awarded a cash incentive to Charrise Jane Gasmin from Barangay Aggub, Solano.
The 22-year old jin represented the Philippines in the Taekwondo Aerobic Senior I II and in the Team Competition events.
Gasmin and other Filipino jins claimed the top spot after earning 58.70 points, beating Southeast Asian Games medal contender Malaysia, reports stated.
The Solano native is a student of Far Eastern University (FEU) in Manila where she is studying Bachelor of Science in Education Major in Sports Recreational Management.
She started training in Taekwondo in 2008 and has since won and participated in various local, national, and international sports events. Northernforum.net
