PNP officer from Cagayan wins 2 golds in int’l Taekwando competition in USA

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A 25-year old police officer from Cagayan won two gold medals in an international competition in the United States of America on Sunday (Manila time), August 13.

Police officer 1 (PO1) Eva Claire Santiago, a native of Peñablanca town in Cagayan, bagged two gold medals during the World Police and Fire Games in Los Angeles, California.

Santiago represented the Philippine National Police team in the Taekwando category.

The Cagayano athlete graduated for her secondary studies in Peñablanca National High School and later finished her Criminology degree in the University of Cagayan Valley.

Meanwhile, relatives and friends of Santiago have posted their congratulations to the celebrate the latest achievement of a Filipino in the international arena. Northernforum.net
