Rainshowers, thunderstorms forecast in Cagayan, Isabela

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected in Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora, state weather bureau said on Tuesday, December 19.

This is caused by a tail end of  a cold front, Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in their daily weather bulletin.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate to, at times, heavy rains.

Further, Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds, and moderate to rough coastal waters.

Meanwhile, tropical depression Urduja is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this Tuesday as it was last located 230 km West Northwest of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan at 3 AM.

Signal no.1 has been lifted in Palawan but, PAGASA said, sea travel remains risky over the western seaboard of Palawan due to the surge of Northeast Monsoon,

Also, at 2 AM today, the low pressure Area outside PAR is located at approximately 1,395 km East of Mindanao. Northernforum.net
