MANILA- Cagayan Valley will host the National Public Employment Service Office (PESO) congress in Cauayan City, Isabela on October 4-6.
The congress aims to review the current status of approaches on public employment in the country, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region 02 Director Manuel Roldan said in the Philippine Information Agency Region 02’s Tipon-Tipan on Tuesday, September 26.
Roldan added that PESO managers will compare notes to come up with good practices on facilitation of employment, and effective implementation of programs and livelihood.
The agency tie up with other agencies and the media to facilitate information dissemination to and assistance for OFWs.
Last year, the PESO congress was held in the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City. Northernforum.net
