Tuguegarao mall guards, employees return lost money, phones

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- Employees and guards of the newest mall in Tuguegarao showed act of honesty as they returned lost valuables of its shoppers.

On October 25, SM Center Tuguegarao Downtown’s (SMTD) mall guard Gerald Guzman surrendered to mall management a cash he reportedly found near the mall entrance.

Guzman said he opted not to keep the money for himself because he thought that owner might have needed the money more than he was.

At kawawa po iyong tao” Guzman said.

A store agent, named as certain Arieth Lozada, later claimed the money she lost. Mall management verified Lozada’s claim by checking the CCTVs.

Another mall guard, identified as Gerald Calimag, also returned a lost motorcycle key to its owner.

On the same day, SM Hypermarket employee Elaine Macapia also returned a lost purse to Jesusa Sto Tomas, a resident of Piat, Cagayan.

Meanwhile, two employees also returned lost mobile phone units on Tuesday, October 31 and Thursday, November 2.

Employee James Fonteveros returned the lost phone of Carlo Angelo Taguiam on Tuesday, while comfort room attendant Rizalyn Delos Santos returned the phone and powerbank of Xana Mendoza. Northernforum.net
