The City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) of Tuguegarao City is processing 25, 605 beneficiaries of The Social Amelioration Program (SAP) for the first batch.
SAP is program under Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) that gives cash assistance to households affected by Corona virus disease 2019 (CoVid-19) pandemic.
Tuguegarao CSWD chief Myrna Te said that the national government only downloaded to them 25,605 forms. “Binigyan po kami ng DILG ng target date upang tapusin ito. Once na maibaba ang form, we have 15 days to accomplish the process”, she added.
Te also said that with the on going process of SAP in different barangays, they have already distributed to the residents of barangay Libag Norte, Tagga, Larion Alto, Larion Bajo, Capatan, Carig Norte and Caritan Sur.
Meanwhile, Te said that their office will try to request more forms from DSWD to cater other residents such as borders living in the city for three years.
“Marami kaming naririnig na na-leleft out kaya susubukan naming na tulungan sila at magrerequest kami sa DSWD ng forms upang mabigyan pati mga ibang residente na nakatira sa Tuguegarao ng matagal na”, she added.
In addition, the forms use in processing SAP is bar coded which makes it legitimate and unable to photo copy.
For the first batch beneficiaries should received P5,500 while another cash assistance with the same amount on the month of May.
