TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- A lifeless body of an unidentified woman was found floating on the river in Enrile, Cagayan on Sunday, September 17.
Enrile police said the woman had five knife wounds: three in the left part of her chest and two on her right hands.
The victim was said to be 30-40 years old, 5’2” in height, medium built, had a shoulder level hair, had a tattoo “Rlea” on the left upper back of her body, and wearing color black bra and brown leggings.
Police said she was found by a construction worker at around 12:40 pm in Barangay Centro II.
Police Chief Inspector Edward Aragon of Enrile police told The Northern Forum that the body had no traces of rape, contrary to earlier reports.
The remains of the victim has been brought to a local funeral parlor in Tuguegarao City. Northernforum.net
