DPWH completes roads worth P9.1-Million in San Mateo, Isabela

Local farmers in barangays San Manuel, Villa Cruz, and Daramuangan Sur in San Mateo, Isabela can now transport their farm products or produce easier and faster after the completion of their local roads, according to Department of Public Works and Highways Region 02 (DPWHR02)

The construction of the 1.40-kilometer road started last year, July 25 and was finished last February 16, 2020.

According to the Isabela Third District Engineering Office, the project had a total contract amount of Php 9,106,452.77.

“These projects will provide comfortability and safety the travelling public, it will also help the local farmers to transport their farm produce easier and faster to the public markets.” said DPWHR02 in a Facebook post.

THe project was funded under the Local Infrastructure Program – Roads and Bridges.
