Little League PH National Finals held in Ilagan City

Ilagan City, Isabela – The Little League Philippines National Finals is currently being held in the City of Ilagan in Isabela.

The baseball and softball league of younger athletes is joined by 60 teams from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

The opening parade of the said league commenced on Sunday, April 9.

Little League Baseball is a non-profit organization whose mission is to “to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League Baseball and Softball,” according to the organization.

“Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, the Little League Program assists youth in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. By espousing the virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the Little League Baseball and Softball program is signed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes,” it added on its message board on its website.

Most of the sporting events are held at the reknowned City of Ilagan Sports Complex where other prestigious national and local sporting events have been held.

Among the previous famous sporting events held at the city was the 2023 Philippine Athletics Championship on the last week of March. TNF
