Power outage to hit parts of Cagayan Valley

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) is set to cut the power in parts of Isabela and whole of Cagayan on Saturday, December 3.

In an advisory, the NGCP said the power interruption in Cagayan and Isabela will pave way to the repair of line hardware along Gamu-Tuguegarao transmission line, simultaneous with maintenance of substation equipment and 69kV transmission lines.

The affected distribution utilities are:

• entire CAGELCO I franchise area
• entire CAGELCO II franchise area
• entire ISELCO II franchise area

NGCP said normal operations will immediately resume after work completion.

“NGCP customers and the general public are advised to take the necessary preparations and precautions for this scheduled interruption,” NGCP said. TNF
