TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- Cagayan province ruled this year’s Cagayan Valley Regional Athletic Association (CAVRAA) meet, retaining its championship title from last year’s.
The CAVRAA meet, which ended on Tuesday, February 28, is an annual athletic meet of elementary and secondary athletes from around the Cagayan Valley region.
According to the latest release of medal tally, Cagayan had so far notched 69 gold medals as of 7 pm on Monday, February 28. (READ: Cagayan, Isabela battle for top spot in CAVRAA 2017)
Meanwhile, Isabela province, which placed third during the CAVRAA 2016, ranked second this time.
Nueva Vizcaya and Santiago City placed third and fourth respectively.
