4 cadavers found in Piat, Cagayan; suspects now in custody of PNP

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – Authorities recovered four cadavers of car dealers from Manila on May 20, 2020.

Cagayan Police Provincial Office PCol. Ariel Narag Quilang said that the police discovered the bodies at around 4:45 am inside a white Honda city along the National Highway in Barangay Villarey, Piat, Cagayan.

“Itong mga biktima ay may food pass na nakalagay sa sasakyan. Base sa imbestigasyon, nilasing ang mga biktima bago ito pinatay”, Quilang said.

In addition, authorities identified two of the victims with double identification, Michael Eugine Romero or Rolly Bermas, Christian Kaibigan or Joshua Natan Blanco, Joel Bolando and Rommuel Quinan Cruz.

“Sa tingin namin ang motibo sa pagpatay ay nag-double cross ang mga biktima sa suspect sa pagbebenta ng sasakyan”, Quilang said.

He also said that the suspects could be involved in illegal buy and sell operations of cars.

As of now, Police are coordinating with the National Bureau of Investigation if the victims have any criminal records in the past.

Meanwhile, Police identified the suspects as Joey Bargado, SB member of Amulung, Cagayan and Joey Vergara.

Four murder cases will be filed against the suspects.

For Quilang, he considered this case as solved because of the witnesses they have against the suspects.

Furthermore, the relatives requested the police to personally transport the bodies back to their families.
