TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – Authorities arrested five individuals for illegal gambling in Cabarroguis, Quirino yesterday, May 8, 2020.
Based on police reports, authorities disclosed that in Brgy. Gundaway, they conducted an anti-illegal gambling operation (Cock fighting) that resulted in the arrest of the suspects.
In addition, police confiscated eight P1000, eight P500, four P100, two P50, four P20, two gaffs and one dead Cock rooster.
Futhermore, the suspects and recovered items were brought to Cabarroguis Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
A case for the violation of PD 1602 is being prepared for filing against the arrested suspects.
