LGU Tuguegarao to sanction CoVid pass holders if not surrendered

The Local Government Unit of Tuguegarao City will sanction residents who will not return CoVid Shield Control Pass (CSCP) after used.

City Mayor Atty. Jefferson P. Soriano in a press conference on May 6, 2020 said that sanctions will be imposed to those who will fail to return the the CSCP. “Ganun din po sa mga barangay officials na makakawala ng CoVid Pass. Lahat po nyan ay may control number kaya alam po naming kung kanino ipinasa ang ID”, he added.

For the first offense, lost CSCP, residents will be sanctioned P1,000. For second, P2,000 and for third, P3,000.

In addition, for those who shall not return the CSCP (1st offense P500, 2nd P1000 and 3rd 1500).
For non-working residents, the CSCP is only required once your go out of your barangay.
Soriano also said that this will manage the movement of the people in public places.

Residents are given three hours to buy what they need while carrying CSCP (Residents’ CSCP)

Meanwhile, for people coming in from different towns, the three border checkpoints will provide visitors’ CSCP.

Moreover, for Public Utility Vehicle drivers, their “Special Permit will serve as their CoVid pass identification, but for passengers they are required to stop at border checkpoints to get visitors’ CSCP.
