TUGUEGARAO CITY, CAGAYAN VALLEY – Twelve suspects from the four provinces in the region are already in the custody of the police after Philippine National Police Region 02 successfully arrested them on July 08.
Roger Catolico, second most wanted person in Ilagan City, and 11 more suspects were captured through PNP’s Oplan Manhunt Charlie.
At least seven cases were filed individually against the suspects who resided in the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela,, Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino.
Four of the suspects were from Isabela, four from Cagayan, and two from Nueva Vizcaya. According to PNP, before 8am at Brgy. Sta. Isabel Sur, Ilagan City, police nabbed Roger Catolico, 43 years old for violating RA 7610 or the “Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act”.
Also, police arrested Lovely Joy Murillo, 26 years old and 9th most wanted in Enrile for qualified theft at Brgy. Alibago, Enrile, Cagayan. Moreover, three suspects were captured for violating RA 9262 or the “Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004”.
Police identified the suspects as Aaron Ebuen, 32 years old from Gamu, Isabela; Erwin Asuncion, 41 years old from Ugac Sur Tuguegarao City; and Alfredo Gallardo of Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya.
Meanwhile, police seized Leah Ferrer of Tumauini, Isabela for illegal recruitment. Additionally, PNP personnel also apprehended Dino Ventura of Gattaran, Cagayan, and Eddie Ronquillo of Diffun, Quirino for violating PD 705 or the “Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines”.
On the other hand, Edwin Guiquing of San Pablo, Isabela was arrested for Multiple Physical Injuries and Damage to Property.
Also, Renante Laddaran, 42 years old, of Brgy. San Ramon, Mallig, Isabela was caught for the crime of Rape.
Marzon Ramel of Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya and Anthony Lumabao of Solana, Cagayan was also arrested for thievery and robbery respectively. northernforum.net
