TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – At least 12 ‘notorious individuals’ identified in the top most wanted list and eight more were arrested by authorities across the region this Christmas week, according to the Police Regional Office 02.
On December 22, police arrested Hinaro Sapisanan, a 54-year old resident of Dupax del Norte in Nueva Vizcaya and the top six most wanted person in the whole region for two counts of rape, as well as Bonifacio Doroni, 43 years old from Cauayan City, top six most wanted in Isabela for attempted rape.
Police also nabbed Ian Mark Buquel of Solana, Cagayan for illegal drugs whose name is included on the PNP watch list is the top six most wanted in intelligence parameters.
Kelvin Ignacio, a 28-year old resident of Pamplona, Cagayan and the top eight most wanted in their municipality was also jailed for frustrated murder.
John Joshua Talosig, an 18-year old resident of Aparri, Cagayan and the top most wanted person in the municipality was also arrested in Makati City for murder while Michelle Sola, 19 years old and the top four most wanted in the same municipality was arrested for cases of Kidnapping and Serious Illegal Detention.
According to a police report, the other persons arrested on separate police operations that day were Danny Manantam and Reina Rose Degamo, both from Bayombong Nueva Vizcaya, Mark John Cabalo of Cordon, Isabela, Reymundo Peralta of Baggao, Cagayan, Norberto Bagiao of Echague, Isabela and Archie Almuete of Dupax del Norte, Nueva Vizcaya.
On December 23, three drug personalities were nabbed in separate buy bust operations in Isabela Province, according to a police report.
On the police report, Michael Castillo, 29 years old from Cabatuan, Isabela, Elesaiah Mangati, 18 years old from Ilagan City, Isabela and Camille Ignacio, 33 years old from Alicia, Isabela were all arrested while selling illegal drugs during separate buy bust operations.
A day before Christmas, police arrested Danilo Geron, 26 years old from Echague, Isabela, top 3 most wanted in the municipality for violations of Republic Act 9262, and Republic Act 7610, and Mark Aldrich Tiam, the top four most wanted of Nueva Vizcaya for a rape case.
The other arrested persons were Jemuel Mepa, 39 years old from Dupax del Norte and Jojo Bondoc, 35 years old from Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.
