TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- Tuao Municipal Police Station inaugurated its new P4.8 million standard type “B/C” building in Baranagay Dagupan on Thursday, August 17.
Deputy Regional Director for Administration Police Chief Superintendent Renato Angara and Cagayan Governor Manuel Mamba, a Tuao native, led the inauguration.
The new building’s lot was provided by the local government unit (LGU) of Tuao. Construction started on March last year and was completed this June 2017
In a press release, PRO2 Regional Director Police Chief Superintendent Robert Quenery said that “the project was made possible through the capability enhancement program of the Philippine National Police with the support of the Local Government Unit.”
“The project expresses unity and commitment to increase effectiveness and productivity of the police in the performance of their duties and functions as law enforcers”, Quenery said in the release.
He also asked for the cooperation of LGU Tuao, stakeholders, private sectors, and the community in making the town more peaceful and safer.
The event was also attended by PNP Cagayan Director Police Chief Superintendent Warren Gaspar Tolito, Tuao Chief of Police Reymond Asistores, Tuao Vice-Mayor William Mamba, and other local officials. Northernforum.net
