The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Philippine National Police (PNP) Cagayan Valley busted a jail guard in Tuguegarao City on May 14, 2020.
The suspect was identified as a High Value Target (HVT) by the authorities.
Authorities said that the buy-bust operation was conducted at Arrow Village, Carig Norte in the city and was named Arturo Advicula Rosal, who is a resident of Tuao, Cagayan.
In addition, the suspect was arrested for selling an alleged shabu on a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet to an anti-drug operative who acted as a poseur buyer.
Meanwhile, authorities recovered from his direct belongings a five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected Shabu, five ammunition of Cal. 45, seven ammunition of cal. M16, one genuine P1000, and five pieces of P1000 boodle money, one unit rose gold touch screen Samsung cellular phone, one unit black keypad Samsung cellular phone, and one unit red black Kawasaki Rouser motorcycle.
Advincula will be facing charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165.
