Abi Left, the founder of Left Paw Cat Rescue, a charity dedicated to saving stray and abandoned cats in the southern region of Birmingham, England, stumbled upon the troubling advertisement. Without hesitation, Abi reached out to the seller to arrange a meeting and secure Albert’s safety. Her experience during this encounter was striking. “I didn’t even mention I was with a rescue center; she was simply thrilled to hand over her cat,” Abi recounted, reflecting on the seller’s apparent lack of awareness about the ethics of her actions.
