TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – A drug pusher was arrested in an anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation in Cauayan City, Isabela last July 9, 2020.
Authorities identified the suspect as Aldrin John Suriaga, 22 years old, and a resident of Barangay District 2, Reina Mercedes, Isabela.
According to Cauayan Police Station PMaj Arturo Cachero, the suspect was in Room no. 7, TD Hotel when the buy-bust operation was conducted.
The police officer who acted as a poseur buyer bought one piece (1) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be Shabu from the suspect.
Meanwhile, authorities confiscated one genuine P500 bill, one heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, one gray Oppo A5 smartphone, one white samsung keypad phone, and key of Honda XRM motorcycle from the suspect.
The suspect and confiscated items were brought to Cauayan city police station for documentation and proper disposition.
A case for violation of RA 9165 against the suspect is now being prepared for filing in court. TNF
