Gigi D’Alessio: Home Burglary Rumors Quashed! Everyone is Safe and Sound

Update on :
Gigi D'Alessio: Ladri in casa? Smentita! Tutti stanno bene

The excitement is palpable as fans eagerly await Gigi D’Alessio’s performance at the New Year’s concert organized by Mediaset in Bari’s Piazza Libertà. However, recent rumors have sent a wave of concern through his fan base. Speculation of a break-in at the singer’s home has surfaced, causing quite a stir online. Yet, the beloved Neapolitan artist has quickly taken to social media to set the record straight.

Reports from Napoli Today indicate that a false narrative began circulating on December 29, claiming that thieves had invaded D’Alessio’s residence. Allegedly, they made off with a staggering amount of cash and a special guitar that had been a gift from the late Pino Daniele. Fortunately, the truth behind these claims has been clarified by D’Alessio himself.

After receiving an outpouring of support and messages of solidarity, Gigi D’Alessio shared a reassuring story on his Instagram, around lunchtime, to dismiss the rumors. In his message, he expressed gratitude for the concern shown by his fans, emphasizing that nothing had happened and that he had not experienced any theft. “I appreciate the solidarity you are showing me, but fortunately, nothing has happened: I have not been robbed at home and we are all fine,” he wrote, aiming to calm his followers. He humorously suggested that perhaps someone with too much free time invented the tale.

Moreover, addressing the claim about the guitar gifted by Pino Daniele, he noted, “Between Pino and me, there have been many gifts, but never a guitar.” This incident serves as yet another example of a baseless rumor spreading online, reminiscent of the false news that circulated in late September regarding the death of Massimo Ranieri, which prompted a heartfelt response from his daughter.

Gigi D’Alessio is set to be one of the highlights of Mediaset’s New Year’s Eve celebration, alongside numerous other artists. As reported by La Repubblica, this concert marks the network’s inaugural event for New Year’s Eve, taking place in the picturesque location of Bari. The recent acquisition of Radio Norba was confirmed last week, and Puglia has been chosen as the backdrop to bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new one with an array of musical performances.

The event will be hosted by Federica Panicucci, one of Mediaset’s most recognizable faces, alongside singer Fabio Rovazzi. Radio Norba will handle the event’s production. In addition to D’Alessio, the stage will feature renowned Italian music stars such as Umberto Tozzi, Raf, The Kolors, Sarah Toscano, Fred De Palma, Riccardo Fogli, Baby K, Mida, Mietta, Federica Abbate, Tony Masiello, and Alessio Bernabei.
