TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – The Cagayan Police Provincial Office (CPPO) will receive 35 units of four-wheel drive vehicles (4×4) from the Provincial Government of Cagayan (PGC) once the 2020 provincial budget is approved, assured Cagayan Governor Manuel Mamba to Provincial Director PCol. Ariel Narag Quilang.
This, after seven motorcycles were given to the police force from the PGC on February 10, during the flag raising ceremony of the CPPO led by PCol. Quilang at Camp Tirso Gador.
In his speech, Governor Mamba said that the motorcycles were donated to the CPPO as additional resources for the operations on anti-insurgency and anti-criminality under the Regional Task Force Ending Local Communist Armed Conflict.
“Hindi mapapatid ang suporta ng PGC para sa inyo just watch and see,” said Governor Mamba.
(The support of the PGC for you will not stop, just watch and see).
The governor then asked the police units under Cagayan province to not act as puppets of politicians but rather to continue their responsibilities and serve the Cagayanos.
