TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) on Friday, May 11, launched its first ever documentary film competition depicting the contributions and plans of the premier economic zone in Northern Luzon.
CEZA spokesperson Charlotte Collado said 15 groups have registered to join the competition, with about P290,000 cash prizes at stake. On Friday, around 11 groups participated in the orientation and workshop in preparation for the competition.
Collado said the documentary films will focus on the “major” accomplishments of CEZA, and its medium-term development plan.
The films, she said, will also highlight CEZA programs and projects’ “impact in the lives of the ordinary Cagayanos.”
Collado added that filmmakers should shoot in CEZA Cagayan offices and within the Freeportzone, except for interviews.
Deadline for submission of entries to CEZA event organizers is on June 8. Running time of the video was set 20 minutes only. Northernforum.net
