The suspects were caught under the Valley Cops’ intensified regionwide Oplan Manhunt Charlie campaign, PRO2 said.
In a release, Cagayan Valley Regional Police Director Chief Superintendent Jose Mario Espino commended operating units for their successful serving of warrants of arrest against the said wanted suspects.
“One of the Philippine National Police’s [PNP] mandates in enforcing the law is to maximize the effect of the service of arrest orders against wanted persons not only in the region but in the entire country,” he added.
In earlier statements, Espino also urged the public to help in the PNP’s anti-crime efforts by providing authorities information which can lead to the arrest of suspects. Northernforum.net
*Note that “suspect” and “criminal” are two far different terms. The former is used when the person has yet to be proven guilty and can therefore be cleared of all charges. The FORUM is well aware of and takes good care in using these terms. To the public, let’s not judge people, OK? Please be knowledgeable enough in understanding these basic concepts*
