TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- A low pressure area is bringing rains in Cagayan, Isabela, and other provinces in Luzon, the state weather bureau said on Saturday, October 7.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the low pressure area (LPA) was located at approximately 525 kilometers East Southeast of Virac, Catanduanes.
PAGASA said cloudy skies, scattered rainshowers, and thunderstorms are expected in the said provinces. They said scattered lightning, and light to moderate with occasional heavy rains will also be felt.
The LPA is also affecting Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and Quezon province.
The weather agency said cloudy skies and occasional rainfall, especially in the afternoon and evening, will be felt in Batanes, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union Pangasinan, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga at Aurora.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will be experienced in Northern Luzon and in Aurora province. Northernforum.net
