TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – The Valley Cops of Police Regional Office 2 headed by General Angelito Casimiro have shown appreciation to the Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC) medical workers through band singing on April 24, 2020.
Casimiro said that the activity is to show appreciation, boost the morale of the medical workers, to encourage them and to join them as well in the fight against the pandemic Corona Virus Disease 2019 (CoVid-19).
“We are with you with this fight and we will always be here to support you. I may not be from Cagayan but I’m a Nueva Vizcayan, and Region 2 is my hometown,” he said.
Moreover, Casimiro said that he will try to give more donations to help the hospital in the fight against the pandemic. Meanwhile, CVMC Medical Chief Dr. Glenn Mathew Baggao responded with an emotional speech.
“Nasurpresa po ako. Hindi ko po aakalain na ganito ang gagawin nyo. Napakasarap sa pakiram. Ang akala namin papasok lang kami upang gampanan ang trabaho namin bilang medical workers,” he emphasized.
Furthermore, Police personnel waved their hands while shouting “Salamat Bayaning Health Workers”.
