TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- It’s pouring good stories about honest Tuguegarao tricycle drivers recently. One of them is the story of a tricycle who brought back important documents to a the person most needing it that time.
Benjie Bautista shared to The Northern Forum the photo of the tricycle driver, who he claimed saved the day of an examinee for the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) on September 24.
Bautista said the examinee was almost in tears when she informed the examiner that she left the envelop containing pertinent documents for the exam.
The examinee, however, was allowed to temporarily take the examination out of pity.
At around 8 am, Bautista said the tricycle driver, who was later identified as Michael Arturo Balisi, came back to Tuguegarao City West Central School and looked for the examinee who left it.
“Sabi niya kawawa naman daw ang bata kaya ibinalik niya, dagdag pa niya marami na daw siyang ibinalik na mga gamit kaya ng bag, cell phone at maging pera,” Bautista said.
We can only imagine what happened to the examinee if Balisi didn’t care enough to bring back the documents.
