60-year old man’s trike stolen in Tuguegarao

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- A tricycle owned by a 60-year old security officer was reportedly stolen in Arellano Extension, Barangay Ugac Sur, this city, on early Friday morning, September 22.

Police said that the driver Dominador Coballes from the said barangay parked his blue tricycle, a Suzuki X120 motorcycle, the night before, near a hotel in the area.

Coballes said he and his wife noticed that their tricycle was already missing while they were buying bread at a bakery around 6 am on Friday.

Coballes said that the tricycle’s ignition switch can be accessed by any type of key which lead to the trike’s theft by unidentified individuals.

Police said that the service tricycle had plate number BT 7764 with the name “Elmer” written on the trike’s front view and an “I love PNPA” sticker on its back.

Investigators were able to get a CCTV footage near the area but the video was unable to capture footage of the incident, police said.

Earlier reports said that there have been incidents of spare parts theft in the area. Northernforum.net
