Police Brigadier General Jose Mario M Espino said that the NPA’s activity is a proof of their motive to pursue their lawless purpose, contrary to their claim of protecting the people.

Espino also said that on February 28, 2019, when more or less 30 fully armed malefactors suspected to be members of the Communist Terrorist Group threatened the employees of CAMIA construction and subsequently burned the heavy equipment using a gasoline and fled away going east direction.

The equipment burned by the perpetrators were the following: three (3) units Mixer Trucks, one (1) unit Dump Trucks, one (1) unit Grader and (1) unit Steam Roller Truck.

“The NPA’s  evil act through the burning and destruction of heavy equipment being utilize for the infrastructure development particularly road concreting project along Brgys Baybayog, Masin, Pared and Pussian in the said municipality is a proof of their desperate move to extort money from the construction firms in the locality” Espino added.
