TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan—“We need to show emphasis and highlight what we have here in our region”, Dir. Purita Samonte Licas on March 1, 2019, said during the launching of PIA-VLOGS at Philippine Information Agency Regional Office 2 (PIA2).
Licas stated, “Today, we are in the digital world, wherein everything we do requires mobile phones, with this, as information arm of the government, it is on us to show and inform the public what the government is doing”.
“To show support to government programs, especially those who uphold the culture the region, the PIA goes social and digital to promote what we have here in Cagayan Valley”, Licas said.
PIA-VLOGS is a social media page which features various tourist attractions and must try foods of Cagayan Valley.
Recently, PIA2 posted a video on their official facebook page the very famous delicacy of Cagayan which is the Pancit Batil Potun (Patung) that accumulated lots of views.
Moreover, another vlog which already been posted is the history of Kalesa in the City of Tuguegarao.
