Amidst threats of COVID-19, NSPC 2020 delegates embark Tuguegarao City

Preceding the official commencement of NSPC 2020, approximately 6000 delegates remain fiery for victory as they set foot in different schools at Tuguegarao City, Cagayan on March 8, 2020 in spite of the looming scare of COVID19.

Concurrently, Honorable Jefferson Soriano, Tuguegarao City Mayor, affirmed safety and security without compromising excellence on his speech at Linao Elementary School.

“Stay healthy and good luck in your respective competitions,” said Hon. Soriano.

Meanwhile, viral posts and interviews from the NSPC delegates acknowledged the hospitality and amenities of the city.

Philip Jay Leano, SOCCSARGEN delegate, remarked, “Malinis po ang Tuguegarao City and the accomodation is great. For my co-journalists, I wish you all the best.”

Leano’s statement was complemented by NCR delegate Aaron Jalata who appreciated the transportation of the city.

Themed as, “Empowering communities through campus journalism,” the NSPC 2020 will kick start tomorrow, March 9 at the Cagayan Coliseum.
