SANTA TERESITA, Philippines- Senator Cynthia Villar, through an official representative, extended help to Cagayano farmers, particularly those of this town, on free agricultural training.
In a message relayed by Villar’s representative Ruby Anne Miguel Matupino, the senator told Santa Teresians are welcome in the senator’s office for any help concerning agriculture.
“If ever na gusto n’yo ng mga free training regarding agriculture, don’t hesitate to reach out our office. Everything that Santa Teresita needs regarding agriculture lahat ay ibibigay sa inyo,” Matupino said.
Matupino said Villar, as Senate Chairman on Committee on Agriculture and Food, and her office are also reaching out to all farmers and farm owners in Cagayan.
Matupino also assured Santa Teresians that Villar has upcoming projects and proposed bills for farming.
In behalf of Villar, Matupino attended this town’s final day of their 3rd Namunit, Ecotourism Festival on Sunday, March 11.
Villar was scheduled to attend but she had to cancel because of “loaded” commitments, her representative said. Northernforum.net
