SM Foundation recently donated PPEs and medical supplies to Northern Luzon hospitals as part of their support against Corona virus disease 2019 (CoVid-19), according to their press release.
Among the hospitals that received PPEs and medical supplies are The Philippine Society of Anesthesiologists, Baguio Benguet Mt. Povince Chapter thru Dr. Deneb Stella Abastilla-Davalan who received the 500 N95 masks and 200 Body Protective Suits with the assistance of SM City Baguio mall manager Rona Vida Correa.
For Pangasinan, SMFI donated to Region 1 Medical Center through their 4th district Cong. Christopher de Venecia.
In addition, SM also said that the they donated medical supplies Dr. Paulino Garcia Memorial Research and Medical Center in Nueva Ecija province, Southern Isaba Medical Center and Cagayan Valley Medical Center.
SM sais that it includes KN95 masks, surgical masks, alcohol , personal protective cloth, netrile gloves, shoe cover, personal protective equipment (ICU), protective goggles, and raincoat.
“These donations will be used by medical personnel who are in the frontlines battling the aforementioned disease”, SM officials said.
Aside from the donation of medical supplies and kits, SM Foundation also conducted relief operations in various communities affected by COVID 19 crisis.
